Year of Coasts and Waters 2021

The events programme that was designed to celebrate the year is currently subject to cancellation and postponement in line with current COVID-19 government advice.

Clyde Cruising Club

This year’s Summer Cruise will commence on Saturday 24^th July and complete on Sunday 1^st August 2021. In the light of the uncertainty remaining over COVID rules, we are planning a fairly flexible program this year, with the emphasis on being a ‘Cruise’. This will allow a more adaptable itinerary, without a dependence of pre-arranged hospitality etc. The programme of the week will be largely dictated by weather and tides. The event will commence at Stone Point, with the fleet gathering on the Walton Backwaters on Saturday 24^th July, going ashore at the Point for a BBQ. We will run some fun events during the week, but without the ‘serious’ races and organised prize givings etc. There will be goodie bags for all entrants, and of course Cruise T shirts will be available.
